Matches like that happen occasionally

We lost the 2004 Qualifying final by 120pts and were 39 pts down atthe 17min mark of the 2nd quarter in the 1st Semi but stormed home to win the D1 Flag in a heart stopper at Adelaide Oval with a 33 min last quarter.

Check Brighton out again come finals time to see if it was a fluke or not!!

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.

There was discussion around this potential option last night, but discussion only. Clubs voted to go with the league's suggestion from earlier in the year, Premier up, bottom two down. Brighton into D3, Morphies replace the bye in D4.

and it's a big YES from Brighton apparently.

I'd like to extend a warm welcome to our Brighton and Twisties posters.

It's a different world over here in Springfield ;)

What are Brighton anyway? Are they the Bombers?

Our legal name is the Brighton Districts and Old Scholars Football Club but our "trading name" is the Brighton Bombers Football Club. Our colours are Yellow, Black and White. If you google images Brighton Bombers you will find some images of our current jumper. Our colours when we were last in the SAAFL was green and white hoops which was the old Brighton High Old Scholars jumper that was retained post merge with the Brighton FC. We switched to Yellow, Black and White (a hybrid of the pre merge clubs) when we joined the SFL in 1997.

BS that a club fights all year makes the GF and is not promoted. Only Salisbury would be happy with an outcome like that.

Win the GF and you will get promoted!!!

Div 4 GF teams since 2013 reads like this.
2013 - Plympton 1st promoted to Div 3, Brahma Lodge 2nd and elected to be dropped to A5 and went winless.
2014 - GG 1st promoted to Div 3, Salisbury West 2nd and elected to be dropped to A7 and won 5 games
2015 - Kilburn 1st promoted to Div 3, Salisbury 2nd and elected to stay in Div 4 and still a chance to challenge for a flag.

The runners up have made their own call for the past 3 years so the only difference this year is that the SAAFL has made the call for them.

I'm not sure facts are going to help.

Welcome go both Brighton and Morphies I look forward to all being in the same grade at some stage where we will be able to significantly decrease the size of our carbon footprint.

I find it interesting that there are people complaining about missing out on promotion when the last few years has seen all these clubs wanting to play at the lowest level possible. Who ever misses out this year should just do a deal to swap with whichever club it is this time who wants to be the big fish in the little pond.
