Houghton would be pretty short priced favourites to stay up, shirley.

Running into a fairly in form side in the Roys.. I think the Roys will win, and with a point differential hovering around 25 goals between HD and MP % wise I think HD are up against it.. But home ground advantage gives them a sniff no doubt

Just my observation from Saturday.. they had some handy sorts in their side, but the depth was severely lacking. Keetch, McMurtrie and Vandermoer seemed to be doing a large amount of the work, Schutz was good as usual - but not as good as I've seen him (to be expected returning from injury though).

Schneider was alright but Roling and Dolan were useless. ;)

Too few contributors and a lot of blokes who looked out of their depth in A grade.. Obviously better suited to their ground, but 'Roys oval is around the same size and I think they'll have too much zip around the ground for the bulky Raiders.

Ian Henderson surely sniffing for an A grade call up this week though? Bloke carved up our B grade Saturday, must've had about 30 kicks, a few contested marks, a couple clearances and played in just about every position on the ground except the ruck!

Get him in there!

Far from the worst, as I said Saturday, blame the midfield! ;)

What about the young lad at IF that kicked 7 on the weekend. Rate him at all CC. 8)

Would be nice, But could be a bit tough polling big with only six wins for the year.

Not out of the question though. Bit like Grant Hawksworth one season at Ingle Farm - side got flogged each week by 150+ and didn't win a game, and he finished top 3 or so in the count.. picked up a lot of 2nd and 3rd preference votes.

Strong sides like WS & WC have good depth, you'd think they would have a good spread of vote getters, which may affect individual medal chances - where as someone like Vanders will be a stand out in a losing side, and likely very dominant in a winning side - every chance he could poll 20 votes and win the medal..

My thoughts were exactly that, lots of seconds and thirds, chuck in a couple of firsts and whacko.
Was surprised by his physic actually when I saw him, he's dropped a fair bit of weight I reckon even though he wasn't overly heavy beforehand.
Covers the ground a lot better.
Could be the bumble bee jumper.
Good luck to him.
Junior CC actually acquired his Christian name from him.
Bit of irony they ended up playing against each other.
