We simply filled out the paper form.

I had a laugh when I read the vents & rants on the census FB page, regarding the outages. I couldn't resist posting the following reply...

"I filled in the paper form. At one stage I experienced an outage with my pen. Fortunately I shook it a few times, and it started working again. Have you tried that?"

Yeah I thought it was a bit odd. We had a paper form dropped on our doorstep. I didn't go searching for info re filling it in online. Perhaps there was an option to do it that way. Whatever it took 10 minutes total. I don't consider that a hardship.

Supposedly the census website got hacked a few times last night. What's the rush you've got 6 weeks to do it before they come knocking on your door so I'll wait until the heat dies down.

I was in Port Augusta I did mine Tuesday night about 5pm went through no worries. Took me about 15mins for my house hold of 4 to complete

I foresee increased breadlines, waistlines, crossed wires and milk riots. I'm worried about the future application of daylight savings also. Our government is simply going to dissolve like a hot frog in a blender.

Let's not go over the top.
It's not like we're going to see issues of Biblical proportions, like you're suggesting - stuff like plague, rivers and seas boiling, cats and dogs living together.

But a lot of the funding and infrastructure provided by government is based around the census.
