I've no problem with that, Weatherill is, for better or worse, the leader of our state and should be representing us.
However, will we see the Minister for Fun, Leon Bignell, all over him - like he was when Adelaide United won.

If Michael phelps was a country he would rank 40th on the overall medal tally, equal with Ethiopia and more than Argentina

Don't even know the Chalmers family, but so stoked for them.

Winning an Olympic Gold medal, I've always like Laurie Lawrence's line (think this is one of Laurie's), "You can break a world record, any day of the week and it can be taken off you anytime, you can only win Olympic gold every four years, and it can never be taken off you" or words to that effect.

Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

I'm still buzzing over Kyle Chalmers win in the blue ribbon event of swimming, best sporting moment in this country for a long time in my eyes.

Hard to say he wasn't a champion SA footballer.

I don't find it hard to say he wasn't a champion SA footballer.

Interesting the commentators saying there is no half way cut. Could be a hack from Chinese Taipai shoot 90+ 4 days in a row!

How does the winner pay his caddie?? 20% of a gold medal?

Golf and interesting. That's two words I thought I'd never see in the same sentence.
