Great win yesterday by the (mainly) young HWE lads in front of the 2006 premiership side, which had gathered for the reunion. So good to see a win against the old enemy in both As and Bs, made for a very large night. :partyman: Hopefully the lads can see a good future in store if they stay the course and stick together.

Unfortunately witnessed a sicking injury to Mallala reserves player Bradley Burns on Saturday at Long Plains, I know he went in for surgery yesterday and just wanted to wish him all the best in his recovery. I don't know him personally but after talking to some of my boys after the game hes a quality young lad, never like seeing players injured playing our game.
All the best.

Was a real bad one. One of the worst you will see with his ankle basically 90 degrees twisted. Feel sorry for him as I'm guessing he will need a bit of time off work (no idea what he does) which is never a good thing.

Should be a good crowd with 7 of the 8 teams represented. I'm guessing it would have been some time since 7 different teams all played on the same day. Thats a good result for the league I think, and for the bar and canteen for Hummock$. $-)
Hopefully the oval is up to scratch, what was it like for its first game on the weekend? Was hearing mixed reports about its condition last week.

I haven't done the tally but I reckon MC would have won the tipping competition and has won the Plains Producer trucker cap. Any challengers?
