Surely North Haven cant lose their 3rd home final in a row.
Eastern Park easily

Well hopefully the boys can rectify our terrible finals record and win tomorrow. Fingers crossed!

Eastern Park should win easily.

I'm going Pooraka and Hope Valley in the B's.

Yes I'll be there, very keen to watch the B grade game and running water for the A grade. Chose not to work tomorrow so it'll be the first D grade game I've watched this year and being Timmy's 300th makes it real special, he's an absolute legend. We had our medal count last night and he won the D grade best and fairest, that's three in a row he's won- C grade and now D grade back to back the last two years.

Really, from what i understand they will be starting in the negative in the current grade. Hard to come back from there and would more than likely get relegated in 2018. Is that concrete that decision or just unwarranted rumor?

Concrete fact. 3 teams along with para hill, totalling 4 to go down. Making room for a few sfl teams.

I find that hard to believe mate, no disrespect meant. The SFL teams have been voted and confirmed for next year and that's just the two teams. I don't think the league have the time or ability to engage with more SFL teams at such short notice. 4 to go down is a stretch IMO. I thought there was a different placing for PH anyway. Regardless, i and my club know full well (along with some others) that the act of a few hurts the many but to be relegated into a lower division for whatever the incident was is a tough one. Without being disrespectful again, i think the info you may be getting is massaged a tad. Happy to be corrected if it does eventuate which again i find difficult to see taking place.

Until the League make an announcement nothing is concrete......what we do know is Morphettville Park to Division 4 and Brighton to Division 3. Only the premier promoted from Divisions 4 to 7.

You actually need to compete to go down. Para Hills will be in D7 next year.

HV, Pooraka and Kenilworth down, D5 grand finalists up.

Morphies take the spare spot in D4.

You normally get 1 or 2 guys with a permit but normally isn't the difference between winning and losing finals

Riddle - Tonkin - Wood - Slater not a bad group of players to have qualify for a B grade final.
As I said HV did nothing wrong & were too good for us on the day, no question & no sour grapes but the facts are the facts.

Riddle - U18 still developing played A's and B's
Tonkin - Lucky to even play B grade with his form
Wood - Has been playing C grade in the 2nd half of the year although he is a good player
Slater - Form slump and was dropped to the 2's

None of this was done with B grade finals in mind. Best 22 was picked each week as we were trying to win as many games as possible to avoid relegation. B grade success means very little in comparison to the A grade being relegated for the first time in over 10 years

Okay we believe you not! After 12 games the HVFC A grade was 2W/10L with 4 to go -pretty daunting stats in relation to relegation, so

Fact 1. Tonkin played B grade 4th June with his next 7 games straight in A grade. Form slump to the B's for the last round = 7A + 7B - permit granted
Fact 2. Riddle played B grade 14th May with his next 8 games straight in A grade. Played last two rounds in B's = 8A + 8B - permit granted
Fact 3. Slater played 9 x A grade before playing only 7 B grade games in the 2nd half of the season - permit granted
Fact 4. Wood played 7 x A grade games, only 2 in C grade and played the last 2 in B's = 7A + 4B + 2C - permit granted.

As I previously stated I do not have an issue with it and seriously good luck to your guys for the rest of the final series.

EP B grade are a bunch of whingers - lack class & discipline. Good result for everyone.

Well Pooraka have been told they're in Div 5. They finished 7th. That means either the Grand Finalists from D5 will come up despite the vote by all clubs at the start of the year or there's another club coming into Div 4

I think FC all but confirmed it in a previous post, SD. Both D5 Grand Finalists to come up, 7th-9th in D4 to come down.
