Heard the crowd was 2,053.

I've read conflicting reports re flying; read that most of the Crows team went up by bus and that only the AFL emergencies flew up.

That sounds far more likely.

If a small oval does that give teams playing in the country I.e. Crows and Power an advantage with percentage?
40 goals scored!

Berri oval is big... very wide. Great surface, lots of space to run.

From rucking on it a few times, it is bloody wide.

Far too wide, for the likes of me.
But not big enough to prevent sixes being hit into the backyards near the grandstand.

The Cows had a bus to catch so they walked off the field at the 10 minute mark of the last quarter ;)

They actually flew to Berri, What a f**king joke. flying to Berri

Incorrect...

I actually witnessed most of the Crows team getting off the team bus at then hotel as my wife and I drove into town for the game...

It was only Jono Beech who flew up because, as mentioned, he was an emergency for the Showdown the night before...

Maybe they caught a bus from the air strip and kept everyone happy?

PS If 99% went by bus does that mean only a player's arm flew up?

No, the guy who flew was just very short.
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

Why didn't they leave the AFL game early once it was clear they were not required? Their 2's coach would have done that ;)

Doesn't make sense to me either!
Think Phil Harper was on the flight back as well.
Maybe they should have all gone back to the pub with Modra afterwards and continue on the cans. He had a great old time!
