I have seen bigger hits in the ANZ Netball Championship. The risk is far too big to challenge

Wouldn't have thought so. Will be interested to see how the lottery, i mean MRP graded the attempted spoil/football contest.

The incident was graded as careless conduct with medium impact to the head.

Ridiculous suspension, but they must be consistent. Anything that involves the head they have been hot on. And if Hawkins gets a week for whateva he apparently did? Then this ban makes sense. #raceintwodangerordusty

As was Hawkins. Them's the breaks. He's going to be a huge loss this week in a must win game.

So Sam Mitchell punching Watts in the head but only getting a fine is consistent?

Hawkins getting a week for pushing a guy in the chest and not even scratching anyone doesn't make it consistent, dangerous and reckless, could have easily been three weeks if they were consistent.

Yeah you're right, we should just accept a bullshit suspension cause we've had a good run on the injury count this year
If only Sloaney did it deliberately, with an open hand, and wore a hawthorn jumper...

One game suspension reduced to fine would have been the logical decision but anyway, he gets a 2 week rest before the first final. Gives a good opportunity to a CEY or Seed (prob both with Smith in doubt)

Sloane and Smith out this week?? Geez, you boys could be in a bit of trouble. Lose this game and you could go from flag favourites to bombing out first week of finals.

I think its early signs the afl want a Victorian team in the top two. Eagles will get a dream run with the umpires Friday night
