Having two Western Suburbs teams playing at Edwardstown is crazy! I guess the league is trying to look after Edwardstown here with the money both clubs will generate with supporters etc.?

That doesn't make any sense at all. There are reasons why these games are where they are and this isn't one of them.

My money is on trying to mitigate any potential supporter base unrest during the day......

Then Edwardstown is not the place for that. Be more to it I reckon, but it does seem really odd.

Someone said to me yesterday Prince Alfred requested Alberton for their Cgrade in div7. Surely that's not why?

There are a few reasons to my understanding. Having both grounds within a stones throw of a major metropolitan police station is a key reason. Pretty similar situation for the SFL after the major brawl in the early 2000's. Guess you can thank the trouble makers from years gone by for that one.

I left at quarter time. BL were never in it with the ball locked in to the northern end in to the breeze and Woody sth scoring 4 goals against it was game over from there.
In the Bgrade difference was Trinity couldn't score against the breeze where WC did and WC fwds especially Campbell were too much of a hand full and WC rucks changing at half back to play loose when Trinity had the breeze dominated a long with WC's BL recruit with tattoos was b.o.g. I reckon.

Spot on Arch. 3 goals to 0 against the breeze was the difference.. They locked it up in the first qtr and we couldn't open them up. Cuellar and Campbell were on and they are tough match ups at the best of times. The 2 deserving sides are playing off in the GF and that's always a good result for the competition.. Still think WS are heavy favourites though

A grade was over by qtr time. WS 5.5 to zip into the breeze, BL were never in it.. Besides Steele they didn't look like having a winner in the first half, he was doing us little lads proud but it wasn't enough for BL..

Ovals were basically decided last week before PAOC even made the GFs

Sporting Pulse goes to default and it is then manually changed by the League depending on who is actually played
Ovals are never finally set until the Monday / Tuesday

Yep. Your right but you must admit some idiot has dreamt up this venue or pulled a name of a hat.
Maybe chucked a dart against the wall to come up with Edwardstown to play the granny
Probably 10 better venues and they dreamt up Edwardstown. FFS
