Still got about 5 years on his contract hasn't he?

Rucci been talking about it too

Apparently part of a 3 way deal that includes Prestia to Richmond, pick 6 to Port and Hartlett to the Gold Coast.

Most likely speculation but interesting thought.

They'd be buying a 5 year contract if they do.

Right now, someone offers pick 6 for Hartlett, I'd take it.

They did last year and the club didn't take it

My info is that either Hartlett or Boak will be traded.

If they trade Boak, I will never ever be a member of the club again. Would like to see the Hartlett deal done though!

Can't see even %1 chance they'd trade their captain

Surely traded Boak is just shit talk?!? Trade out the captain and one of their better players over the past how ever many years - stuck through them in the tough times.. Hartlett would be trade bait, but Boak no way surely?!

I would say the Boak trade part is bullshit. Hartlett would be the one they would be looking at. But like I said when I put the "proposed" trade forward its probably just speculation which is common at this time of year.

With a week off from football the footy world is bored.

Boak is seriously underwhelming. I can hardly recall a time where he ever damaged us. Robbie, Wingard yes, Boak, never.

I'm not poking the Port bear the coach said he wanted to hold onto to the better players recruit kids on channel 7 news the other night .
Having said that do you think trade week if they got an offer they couldn't refuse on Boak .
The days when clubs were totally loyal and players totally loyal at contract times are long gone .
And he is from Victoria iirc

boak looks tired, too much BS to cope with last couple years, would be better for his game to relieve him of captaincy, let him focus on playing great footy

give a fresh leadership to someone such as homsch, boak will still provide leadership

hartlett is too much of a mummys boy, need a mans man

Boak wouldn't be worth trading now, if the Power were smart they would have traded him a couple of years ago and they would have been handsomely compensated. Geelong would have ended up with a dud and little chance of fitting Danger into the club. We would have been screwed.
Thanks Port :)

Just my opinion of where he's at from what I've seen this year.
Dud was more of a relevant term of where he is now from where he was at 2 years ago as I used to really rate him.
Thanks for the compliment!

TWO POWER PLAYERS – Logan Austin and Cam O’Shea – have undergone post-season surgery, joining four others currently in rehabilitation following in-season operations.

Scans revealed an ankle fracture for Austin suffered in the Power’s final game against Gold Coast

He will be fit to return to running within six weeks.

O’Shea has undergone hip surgery and will be back on track within a month.

Previous surgeries include Chad Wingard, who has already returned to the track as part of his rehabilitation program, hip surgery to Jack Hombsch and knee surgeries to Dougal Howard (ACL) and Alipate Carlile (PCL).

Port Adelaide’s high performance manager Darren Burgess said the majority of players would return to full training when the Power's pre-season resumes.

“One of the positives is that we’ve only had two surgeries at the end of the season and all but Dougal Howard should be back in full training when we resume in November,” Burgess said.

“Logan will spend about six weeks in rehab before he can be back running again.”

Austin – ankle – 6 weeks to return to running
O’Shea – hip – 4 weeks to return to running
Wingard – finger – returned to running
Hombsch – Hip – running in 3 weeks
Howard – ACL – running in 3 weeks
Carlile – PCL – running in 2 weeks

I wasn't stirring shit Boon, The situation between Hartlett and Boak was quite serious so def don't be surprised if one of them is not at Alberton next year.
