Got to love the arrogant aloof attitude. Reminds me of a certain AFL franchise.

We? As in the Crows?

The subtext of your sentence sums up the conceited attitude of the Crows and their acolytes perfectly.

If you think "we" was the Crows in the context of Matts quote, we have a bigger problem than AFL in the SANFL...

Voice an opinion, wanting fairness and integrity in "your" competition and get called a whinger.

You going on the weekend Matt to watch your beloved Crows reserves? Been to many games this year? Do you get in for free? I don't and have an SANFL club membership.

For what it's worth (nothing probably), I've rung and left a message at the SANFL. Awaiting a call back. Sick of the way this comp is run. I imagine they'll be happy if I no longer go, as long as I follow the results on Twitter.

For what its worth Dogs72 - I've had the SANFL confirm via Twitter that Adel Oval Football members, Essential Crows members, Essential Power members and SACA members ALL gain free entry to weeks 1-3 of SANFL finals. Everyone but the true supporters of the competition FFS!
I've asked CDFC to lobby the SANFL to address the imbalance, but in the meantime I'll just feel undervalued and disrespected along with my fellow SANFL supporters.
Players win touches, Teams win matches, Clubs win Premierships.

matt35 wrote:MW; spot on. This sooking is absolutely laughable. The point is that what has happened is actually allowed for by the very rules people are demanding be upheld. The rules allow for an application for a permit in exactly this type of situation, where a player has played just about all year in the SANFL and simply came in to replace a suspended player. We are not talking about someone who has played 1 or 2 games here. The ability to apply for a permit allows for common sense to prevail in exactly a situation such as this. If we handed out premierships for whinging, Centrals and some of their supporters would have that one in the bag. But as they don't, I look forward to them being sent packing by 3 on Saturday.

So do Central have a right to a "permit" that prevents Seedsman from playing?
I notice you're a bit silent on that issue. I think you wrote earlier that he's eligible and that the person who questioned it was a, what did you call him? A "flog" , right?
So on the one hand, to question the rule makes you a "flog", and on the other the rule is unfair and therefore a "permit" is only sensible.
Isn't that why "rules are rules"?

One North member I know got free double passes to all the finals as thanks for going to every home game this year.
If everyone with a ticket rocks up we should get approximately 60,000 there!

Different treatment for different parties.
