This is one club i have no idea who will get the most votes. Very even side. Just after an opinion of those who might have seen a few more north games than me.

Can't see many getting 10+.

Goldstein had a few rippers early, so did Wells and Waite had a purple patch when they were flying.

Cunnington, Tarrant, Harvey, Zeibell will all get a couple of 2's.

Me, I'd be going with Goldstein or Wells.

Doesn't really poll that well, 187 votes in 400 odd games, highest total 22

Last season 5

Thinking about the Boomer scenario, I would have put him on the rookie list, played sparingly in the VFL in the first half of the season and then come round 11 you can upgrade him and not cost anyone a spot on the list, you then have him pretty fresh for the second half of the year. If they are not going to make finals he doesn't play AFL. Meanwhile he can work with the kids in the VFL and transition into a coaching/development role.

This gives everyone the best of both worlds IMO.

Much better option than the one put forward by the club, without question.

Agree it's the best option for North Melbourne but would boomer have agreed to that.

IMHO would be a great fit for GWS if he wanted to go around again

GWS have to trim their list again this year dont they?

I doubt the will be trying to get many more mature age players up there

Makes a mockery of the system calling Boomer a rookie.

I would have given him a Contract because he is still in the top 5 players at your club.
Then at round 16-17 made the call if he goes on, depending if finals are on the radar or not.
Shocking decision, the coach needed to go before Harvey.

Brayshaw kicks another bloke in the guts before he walks out the door.

Failed in their bid for a flag with the pensioners and now they're imploding.

On Wells :

But secondly for the last three years he’s been unbelievably well remunerated and played about four per cent of the games, so you’d hope that ‘Pickers’ would keep that in mind.”

Lol - you've got a strange take on what imploding and a kick in the guts is.

Its a fair call from Brayshaw. A bloke who has played sweet **** all and been paid well is now looking and walking for some cash.

Whilst the why in which he 4 said departurers were handled was poor I wouldn't say they are imploding......yet.
