Why are you so bitter IW? Isn't it time to move on and look forward to the season ahead?

Not bitter, just know what you've done to the future of this Comp in regards to junior players, there goes the ability to dig in at Number 6 and get 70 or 80, or for 1 bowler to settle in and bowl a ripping 20 over spell. Any quality cricketer wants to see that. Do you not agree?

Without undertaking due research I can't make claims that juniors will love/hate the new format if I were too it would be pure conjecture.
Sorry I think you missed my point, whether we are in agreeance or not this decision has been made and we've all expressed our views. Now rather than all parties rehash the same things again (it's getting kinda boring) surely it's better to get on board and give it a go?
If as you and others have so confidently predicted the comp has made a mistake then take the opportunity in the future to change it.
In less than 4 weeks the season starts and whether for better or worse Its a season that I can't wait to get back out on the paddock!!

Sorry to rain on your parade but 2 day cricket at the amateur level is pretty much unique to Australia. English league cricket is all limited to 1 day (each league has differing rules) and they only play multi day cricket at the minor county level and above. It is clear to an outsider that there are issues regarding player retention and you are not alone with these problems.

At Least, the hacks who don't train will have a hit every week and still look ordinary....

Youv'e got issues mate. You say you love cricket, yet you are hoping to see the failure of the comp. Pretty poor IMO, especially coming from a cricketer.

TVCA clubs voted to change to all one day games last night. The shift in thinking over the winter break has been significant.

40 over games, 8 over max per bowler, play the game out (don't draw stumps when result achieved).

From a personal point of view I would have preferred to keep two day cricket, but I can understand the need for change in our comp. Things 'aint what they used to be.

Since one day cricket is confirmed, we may as well predict the ladder, Here it is,
Nairne
Woodside
Strath
Langhorne Creek
Wistow
Lobethal
Ashbourne

Without Doubt Nairne will be dominant in the one day format, although with the loss of arguably there best bowler will be interesting to see how they cope. Still have a lot of depth,, but that will hurt them.
