So each of them wipe their hands of the issues? Sounds like 2 different clubs and don't represent one jumper?

Rosewater or Seaton?

He was referring to Rosewater, even though the clown in the Tiser got the altercation back to front on todays article.

I think you'll find they are different entities, most of us outside the Southern League are. The junior club is affiliated with one comp, the senior club with SAAFL.

Maybe time for them to both change their names to establish a new identity as the current one may not recover from all this.

Heard some interesting rumors.

Doesn't involve the council i live in (playford)but apparently one of the councils is unhappy with its local club in regards to paying players.

Supposedly this council is angered by the increase in junior football fees, the drop in participation numbers in its council and the fact the clubs are paying decent amounts to a grade footballers.

While the council understand it is not the clubs paying the players per say they are looking at potentially restricting funding and renegotiating the contracts to make clubs make the clubs more accountable for keeping junior sport at a reasonable cost if clubs continue to raise junior fees while paying a grade footballers.

Admittedly this is only at discussion level apparently but it does come from a very reliable source.

A red & black team were in strife with the same situation a couple of seasons back.
Extra exorbant junior fees and high A grade expenditure on players.
Interesting topic actually.

Seen some u16 footy this year and happened to see Rosewater play. Saw a kid who I thought was an amazing talent and would one day play in the AFL. So disappointed that it was the same lad that allegedly knocked a Seaton player out and then kick him in the head when he was already on the ground unconscious.

Really hope he can get over this as the talent is amazing.

Personally would love to spend a year at a big traditional Melbourne club like Collingwood.

Would be an amazing feeling to be part of some of the big games they play even if it's just being in the changeroom as a squad member
