Do either of McVeigh & Mills come in for the big one?

Depends how serious Aliir's injury is.

GF's can spark miraculous recoveries. Stevie J is one example..

Feel for Enright. Knows that was his last shot.

How can you feel sorry for Enright? He has won three flags, six All Australians.

You feel sorry for someone like Bob Murphy, potentially missing a flag or Grand Final after everything he has done for Bulldogs.

Dangerwood couldn't beat Sydney. I wonder if Geelong could have...

Where have I said that Bob Murphy won't be the hard luck story of 2016 should the Dogs win the flag?

In my opinion, Enright is a champion of this game, and he wouldn't give a sh*t how many flags he has won. If you bow out in a prelim on your last legs, you would be shattered. He and Bob shouldn't be compared. Should the dogs win the flag, I'll be equally as disappointed for him.

Both fantastic assets to the game.

Fantastic night watching the footy on one big screen and the NRL on another. Place packed full of mainly Cats supporters and it was enjoyable seeing a Scott brother bow out. Swans far too good for a very ordinary Cats side

Overall the standard of the AFL has changed this year, I think it's better for the game with interchange caps ect. What's happened though is the true lack of elite teams and people come back to the pack. When Sydney turn it on they are streets ahead of the rest of the comp. If that first final was at the SCG then Sydney would have gone straight through to the prelim. There are so many non like for like scenario's in this years finals series compared to years gone by. I truly reckon the dogs will make the GF and will get absolutely mauled by Sydney. They are quality, in years gin by there are 2-3 true quality teams, this year there is 1 and the other teams can play pretty well if they turn it on, overall Sydney are much better than anyone
Can you bring a man to his feet when defeat is on repeat?

If Alir doesn't get next week, does Richards come in?
