A good day for Punters means a shite day for me!
Only Seaburge gave me any joy today - had he got up, the $51 would've made everything 'rosy'...
Oh well, always next week :)

I am a little bemused by all the negative talk around the quality of this year's Caulfield Cup.
Whilst I accept that there are a few 'lesser lights' in the field, it still boasts 2 VRC Derby winners (one of which is also a BMW winner), a VRC Oaks winner & an ATC Oaks winner, a Turnbull Stakes Place Getter, an Adelaide Cup Place Getter & a Metropolitan winner - not to mention a handful of reasonable overseas runners. Granted the bottom 3 runners are average, but there is still some high quality animals running.

Alaskan Rose peaked on her run when I thought she looked the winner around the turn.
Back to flemington, 3rd up, she wins

Snaffled one per cent of the F4 div from the MB Gold Cup yesty.

Was trying to spend $30 but it rounded down to $16.80 for one per cent. Should have chipped in the extra $3.60 for two per cent. Ack!
