Just a thought, but should there be a 3yr wait or something like that before you can re enter your team back into the comp??

Or something like you are given 20 Player Points and everybody that played in your Premiership is 2 Points each. This maybe the only way you going to stop Teams winning Flags and coming back in 2 years to do it all again.

Recent division 5 premier Hectorville will be forfeiting 2017 but will be returning in 2018 via division 7

Pretty drastic measures to make when every year about 3-4 clubs at absolute tops out of 60 odd go about their business only half as bad as things are discussed on here. Worry about your own clubs.

Says measures are drastic. Then says only 3-4 clubs. :|

Still, they are draconian. Wouldn't do that and its not needed provided clubs "coming back" are graded as accurately to their standard as possible

Heard a massive rumour tonight that Tim Aloisi will be leaving Brahma Lodge to play for Victor Harbor with his good Mate Clint Alleway getting the coaching gig down there

I heard Aloisi, Steele and Motley (when suspension over) all off to Adel Plains. Forget the club that was named, but decent $$.

Spriggs back to Gepps Cross and Tyson Lees to Kersbrook.

There are a few clubs in this grade who dont have juniors and go ok.
I understand clubs have to pay out money, but i think it comes down to attracting people to your club that are going to be there for a few years and not blokes who walk after one years as seems to be the case at BL?

They haven't had much of a junior program for quite some time, despite many efforts and offering free rego etc.

It's bloody hard to get one up and running with Salisbury, Para Hills, Pooraka, Salisbury West, Salisbury North, Ingle Farm and to a lesser extent, North Pines all close by and generally well run and successful.

Had Auskick this year and will do that again next year, hopefully can try and get something kicking out of that, but LM has nailed it, very tough

Even tougher for me having to watch my lad run around in a Broadview Guernsey, only saving grace is that its the same Guernsey as The Lodge 8)

I guess its the same with Houghton to an extent with no juniors. We have some of the strongest junior clubs in the state around our area with TTG, Modbury, Hope Valley and Golden Grove. The club has had auskick the last 2 seasons so we will see what can happen with the future.
