Jordan Lewis off to the Dee's?

Lewis' manager said it isn't happening.

Rocky was asking for $800k, would think he would have to take a decent cut to get to the Crows

Apparently a meeting just finished that didn't go too well, more to come

Still think we might end up with both

How could you possibly fit both in under the salary cap?

Have you got a unlimited salary cap?
Rocky and Gibbs would be $1.3m between them minimum.

Using the accounting system made famous by Carlton and then the appendix written by S. Trigg ;)

Nice ploy to get what they want.

Wonder who it is?

Exactly.
Why should Carlton bend over and give the crows what they want.
Gonna have to be a decent player if it's not a first round pick on offer.

According to Bickley in today's rag, Mitchell leaving Hawthorn is the same situation as Gibbs and Carlton should lighten up and accept whatever the Crows offer.
Then the Crows can win a premiership and then Carlton will be happy too... Apparently.

As a Carlton supporter I'd love to see the crows win a premiership next year with Gibbs playing! NOT!!!!!!
Could be worse.......... he could end up at Alberton. :D

Someone has to win it and I doubt it's Carlton. Why not get a step closer yourselves and help another club at the same time?

Would have to be some moves made there I suspect. But I also don't think we're hard up against the cap either. Reckon we've been holding some space in the hope of picking up someone. Probably the reason Lyons is in limbo. You'd have to think if we couldn't offer better he'd either sign or leave.

Does anyone honestly give any credence to the drivel spouted by a dickhead who's ability to spew forth excrement is matched only by his inability to maintain a closed zipper on his pants?

Because they haven't had any trades? They tried to shift Hartlett and are now working on Lobbe. They do have salary cap relief for next year but not for 2018 when these guys still have their contracts running. Seems more like Port just haven't been able to get anyone they can afford and rate to want to join.
