I still watch this every no and then when Pangaea played Boys & Smile on Recovery. I love Boys and still regret getting rid of Freibentos.

I've watched the **** out of that video since it was uploaded.

I have Freibentos, and it still gets regular play at Casa De FC.

In fact, I may just listen to 'Colossus' again...

Very nice, I even had Freibentos signed by Ben from a Regurgitator instore, silly to get rid of it.

Did you know Pangaea's two EP's can be downloaded for free from Valve's Bandcamp page?

It was around 2001 when I moved out of home and needed the cash so purged my CD collection. Got rid of a lot of stuff I regret trading in like a TISM box set I won from Rip It Up I think it was called Collected Recordings 86-93 it had their first four albums plus I think about 30-40 bonus songs that was selling for $80 at the time. Massively regret that.

In fact I bumped into the guy I sold it to earlier this year Fat Ian he used to have a store Andromeda and after that closed down was running the basement of Big Star Records he was a huge TISM fan and that box set was rare so bought it off me like $40 or something and as we were talking about them asked him if he remembered that but he said he didn't.

****... I don't think I could part with my music collection, despite the fact I no longer listen to some albums. For me, each disc takes me back to a time and place in my life. So many memories, and not all good ones...

I used to frequent Big Star, Bank St. and Verandah back in the day.

Those were the days :) Another thing I regret not going to the Cannibal Corpse instore at Verandah with their old singer Chris Barnes. Just for the novelty value. A mate went and said it was packed. I think that was at Verandah's old location where New Internationalist now/was is.

Agreed I really like it. I've always liked it when bands do music videos and they're like little movies either with no appearance from the band or kept to a minimum at least. It looks fantastic really dirty and grimy I think it was filmed in Macedonia.

Some great bands have released albums all the same time.

Current album playlist -

Sum 41 - 13 Voices

Bit more "rock" than "pop punk" but still great. Honestly, there is not one Sum 41 song that I feel like skipping. They were also the first ever headline band I saw live. New Found Glory supported, and its still the best show I've ever been too.

Crown the Empire - Retrograde

Their first two albums were concept albums about a dystopian, gang-centric future. This one strays away from the concepts, and the heaviness really isn't there. Thats a bit disappointing, since the screamer has one of the best screams I've heard. He pulled off the longest growl I've ever heard live at Soundwave. I'm sure I'll get a bit more into a few more listens in, but the first two albums are well ahead of it.

Of MIce & Men - Cold World

Mix of heavy and soft. Same old from them, but their songs are pretty catchy.

The Devil Wears Prada - Transit Blues

One of my favourite bands. Very heavy, technical music. Very rarely does a song have a 3 or 4 chord chorus, its just all over the shop, which I love.

Spotify is so good for this. I saw a few new videos on Youtube, and straight away download the songs.

While in Mt Gambier working for several weeks I did enjoy spending most Thursday and Friday nights at Morrison's Jazz Club.
Some of those kids attending the school are really good.
