I'm happy enough with that. Kelly deserves another year on this years form and he has turned down a guaranteed job with the AFL so mentally you would think he is raring to go. Dea was a bit of a surprise packet this year and think he is even a upgrade on Hibbard. Both those 2 give us a few options in defence now.

kelly can get a contract but barlow cant
also with watson's brownlow... if the WADA ruling had been declared before the medal count night, and he had been suspended already, would he have been deemed ineligible for the brownlow before the medal count went ahead.

My understanding is the club needed the spot for Xavier Richards

I think they must give it to Cotchin and Mitchell, one deserves it, the other not so much.
At least now the guy who will end his career with the most Brownlow votes will have at least one Medal
