Good to see the start being pushed back a bit.

This year really felt like it started to drag on. From our perspective the gap between the Under 18 Finals to the D7 Finals (or more accurately conclusion of season) to the D1 Finals stretched on far too long.

The early starts make it extremely difficult for clubs who don't regain their clubrooms and oval until that very date

Only if you don't have any type of functioning relationship with your cricket club.

We've struggled to get on the oval before Rd 1 when cricket and softball get through to GFs. One season our first training at Walkerville was the Tuesday before Rd 1, tends to make the coaches a bit p!ssed

Ditto for us with a grade cricket club co-tenants. If any team, even one of the under 14s, make a GF we have to wait until April. Our tenancy doesn't take hold until April 1 anyway.

Unfortunately footy chick it's not just about the baseball club. Colonel light gardens is full or heritage and our agreement with the council and local residents doesn't allow us full access until April 1

Anzac day considerations seem a little unconsidered?

Ttg vs modbury?
Henley vs broadview?
Mitchell park vs para hills :)

However smithfield vs eastern park looks a lock
