Where else you you play it? 2 x 3 Test Series this season and Australia only has 6 summer time Test venues. Means Sydney or Melbourne get 2 and likely to impact on their 'Traditional' slots

Play the 3rd test of the 2nd series around Jan 10th.

Our summers are starting later and we're pretty much guaranteed the hottest weather in Jan/Feb.

Agreed... when the Mrs and kids (girls) are happy and eager to go along to games, then to me that's a win.

It's certainly the best thing to happen to 20/20 cricket.

Well that I agree with.

But test cricket would die quicker if t20 wasn't around. The amount of potential new fans brought to the game outweighs anything else imo.

Hopefully Marsh!! Smith said they were leaning towards playing 6 batsman. And they surely can't drop Lyon.

Looks like we'll get about 30 overs in over the first couple of days. Hopefully the weather will be kinder and they can catch up some of that later in the Test match.

Dont be too sure! With hardly any play on first 2 days, Smith said they may go with the 3 seamers and use him, Davey and Voges. Green top pitch and only about 3 days play, Saffers looking to do similiar thing.
