Ross, Jack and Peter?

Appears to be two Steeles who played for BL this year.
Aloisi kicked 110 goals in 2016 and is that Motley the bloke who played for Virginia a few years ago?

Yes but I'm pretty sure his suspension is about 6 weeks could be wrong. Aliosi is a quality small forward, yes there are to Steeles at BL, One no good the other is Dene very good in and under mid small in stature but can play. Won a div 4 medal at S/West I reckon.

AGM would have just been held, so not sure the fixture would be finalised as yet...clubs tend to vote on it a few weeks after the AGM...I think

Did the anti-Angle Vale alliance (Balak, HWE and United) get their way with the revised points system for next year?

Apparently due to the inability of clubs to successfully recruit and retain players we need to modify the points system - amusing

Think the revision is trying to adjust the current formula (unique to the Adelaide Plains) to bring it in line with the Barossa's.
The points system would remain the same, but the win percentage formula is a suggested change, given a club like Mallala, which has a win percentage of (at a guess) 85 per cent over three or four years, can be allocated 8 points, while a less successful club like Balaklava, which has a win percentage closer to 60 per cent, is allocated 10.
I'm purely guessing figures and reasons why this is being proposed. But that's my best explanation for it.

I think it goes further than that. Look at Mallala and Virginia who have been very successful, but are allocated 8 points, whilst Angle Vale are allocated 15 and have a win % of 0. Whilst it will never be perfect, the current allocation is basically saying that AV are only 2 (and a bit) good players from being a level standard with Mallala and Virginia which is wrong. Their needs to be a greater difference between the top and bottom sides in regards to the formula. In a perfect world, there would be an extra allocation for population differences, which reflect in Junior grades, but good luck getting clubs to vote for something that only helps 1 or 2 sides.

Mate, that was dealt with last year, just because there was 3 clubs who voted against and 3 (+1 for a change of mind  ) that voted for, I guess that makes an alliance

That was my impression, but clearly the points system would not remain the same - it would be turned on its head. Changing the formula is a big change. The question for me is: why penalise clubs for effectively managing their playing list and reward those who can't?
