I'm not particularly fussed what you do or do not care about other than another person having an opinion.

It's not about Computer Crashed or morell. Nor Para Hills or Mitchell Park.

I say if they are in Div 7 and the league can't think of a viable solution, then players on their list that stayed true to the club should be allowed back, players that did a runner also welcomed back but are now worth points this will ensure some form of restriction and keep the competition even and yes their B grade will probably dominate if this is adopted but would be interesting to see if players returning are doing so with the clubs best interest at heart or still following the $$$$
Not a bad idea, and great job for actually thinking rather than just reacting like a light switch.

The only issue I have would be that there would be a fair few great club people that decided to have a kick and a catch in 2016 for another club (like all the guys that helped us out) that would get punished through no fault of their own.

For me, if Mawson Lakes didn't want to come down, and no other club looked like they'd be a good fit in D7, I would make D6 an 11 team comp (either play for an extra two weeks or adjust the draw like D7 was in 2015) and ensure all clubs are aware that the bottom 3 will be relegated. D7 would have a bye or replace them with another C Grade - preferably Henley

introduce 2 classifications BC & AD with BC being Before Collapse and AD being After Demise, players that cleared to other clubs BC attract points, players in the AD category nil points :)

an 11 team Div 6 comp also has merits but whatever happens I think the powers to be need to review the situation as the one is now impacting the many

If we can put a man on the moon, we can structure a SAAFL D6 competition with 11 teams.

I must be doing my math wrong, isn't it two extra rounds? 20 weeks? and two byes? Start a week early, end a week late. Heck you could play the Queens Birthday week off and get back in line with the other divs as well.

Keep the top 5. Relegate 3 at the end of the year.

If it really is too hard, do what they did for us in D7 in 2015 when we had a weird number of teams.

it seems like lately some club every year folds. whos in the pipeline this summer, and then youll get your vacancy morrel

what is the status on their list (para hills) can we see the outrageous super power of pedigree list theyve managed to gather so far

no particular massive change probably cant happen until at least February by the league and if so im certain it will be houghton to Div 7, maybe with the money para hills saved last year, they should pay houghtons affiliation fees this coming season to keep them happy :)

Oh yeah, the 10 games * 2 plus the two byes. My bad.

Play the QBD weekend like we did in 2015. Start a week early, end two weeks late.

We end the season way too soon anyway down here. It's still blimmin raining in the finals

If you play trial games, and then go deep into finals, the season is plenty long enough without adding additional weeks.

excuse me but Troy Elbourn is a picture of fitness and health and will be leading the Para Hills ruck in the A Grade with aplomb.

Hook and Van Den Brink are both A Grade too. Nguyen as well. Tratas played D3R and was in the best 50% of the time, he'd play D7 A Grade.

Again, their list, right now, is probably middle to bottom end of D6-ish and top end of D7. If that is their list come round 1, I'd be fine with it.
