Let the rumors begin hey! A fool if you believe this!

A fool if you believe they've signed at Kenilworth, or that they only asked for $400? :D

Definitely signed but not for that $$$ and the boys didn't ask for it either! Theodosi knows a couple of the boys, including the captain, blucher and went to school with some too. Just wants to play with mates closer to home. Hard to believe for some but it is true!

Well considering he is building a house in Prospect, this makes perfect sense.

Read, Teasdale, McMahon? & someone else. A decent little package.

Have also lost 7 or 8 to Fitzroy.

3 reserves players are only 9 points.

Assuming Glenunga aren't breaching the cap even paying the blokes the maximum payment is only going to account for just over a third of their cap.

how many points are allowed in total? you'd still think to lure good players like that they would have to be paying them alot and giving the rest of the players a pay cut?

Each club can have 15 points.

Assuming they're playing by the rules they can only pay them a maximum of $400.

I also think it would be wrong to assume every C9AFL team was paying the maximum of the Cap. Many if not most wouldn't have gotten anywhere near it. Given some Glenunga players have left from the outside looking in they'd have plenty of room.

it helps with salary cap if you get them all employment, that is exactly what glenunga have done, but if all their players are on the team sheet at the same time, they will be over the points for sure.

And even then if the CFL gets interested you can potentially be walking a fine line.

just pretty interesting that 3 new players at the club take up 9 points with only 6 points remaining, doesnt provide alot of options for the other 18 people on the team sheet..

Handorf had a run at these 3, and they are being paid well over the going rate. Handorf and Uraidla had competitive offers but Glenuga's was game changing I hear.

Pretty standard procedure I would've thought, you'd think that over 80% of the players in the Ch9AFL would be no pointers. You'd still have a pretty handy line-up with the following:

3x3 pointers
2x2 pointers
2x1 pointers

It's probably more about providing a comfortable, attractive place for your members to play footy so you can retain them to end up being 0 pointers, well that's my take on the whole thing.
