It is fascinating watching these scores as they happen and what they may mean for the next Test.

Patterson in at the moment on 10. If he gets a ton he's a certainty to get picked with Handscomb. Ferguson or Burns keep their spot. Leaning to Burns as that would keep Khawaja and Smith at 3 and 4.

I've never seen Renshaw hit a single ball but his first class record is very impressive for a young lad

Good records for a young lad who has hit under 1000 shield runs.

People that have seen him (i haven't), would he get eaten alive at international level at such a young age??

I've only really seen him a couple times, watched him close yesterday and he impressed me - seems to have a thirst for batting, throwback to the old genuine bats - not in a hurry to score, great temperament and happy to soak up balls and time if needed.

Given the external pressure to make runs this weekend - make runs and there's a good chance to wear or re-wear a baggy green and the internal pressure that creates to perform. It is interesting to see who has stood up this Shield round so far.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Burns gone for 2 in the 2nd innings. LBW to Sayers.

Surely can't be picked now?

Patterson made 55 for NSW. NSW 6/158, trailling Victoria by 352

Queensland 1/43, leading by 260. I'm surprised they didn't enforce the follow on.

Renshaw with a second innings 50, having a real good game.
Blood the kid in Adelaide, looks a far better option than Burns

Bancroft failed again, made 11 in the 2nd dig.

Will Burns survive??

Ferg out for four again, ct behind of George. Ah well he'll have a chance for the 1st test against the Pakis if he cashes in against the Vics at the "G" next week...

Meanwhile Whiteman has got his 2nd 50 of the match. Good gloveman is whiteman

Jake Winter is the one who has been churning out runs in grade, premier league and Futures. Will be interesting if he gets runs again in Futures tomorrow.

Not sure, but I think Jake Winter has been making some runs at district level. ;)

The side id like to see vs what will be picked
My team

Warner
Kawajha
Smith
Hanscombe
Patterson
Head
Whiteman
Starc
Hazelwood
Sayers
Bird

Dont pick a spinner for the sake of it, we havnt got one that is even remotely close to test standard. Smith and Head can get through 10 overs in a day the quicks 20 each. May not be required in a day/night test with pink ball anyway

Selectors will go with
Warner
Burns
Kawajha
Smith
Hanscombe
Patterson
Wade
Starc
Hazelwood
Bird
Lyon

Good to see you acknowledge the selectors have a better idea than you!

Neville will survive though
