Sorry my mistake, ABLE were his sponsor the year before! Have been told though, he was informed that he didn't have to pay subs. Guess it's one of those deals where you don't have to pay subs for as long as you're there, but the second you want to leave all that money is owed ;)
Don't worry about my profile - im just interested to know the situation that's all!

The Old Ignatians Football Club is pleased to announce Michael O’Leary as Head coach for the 2017 season. Michael played SANFL football during the 90’s for both Norwood and Sturt before retiring from the SANFL in 1997. He then spent several seasons at SPOC as a player and coach. After taking some time off Michael returned to coaching, where he coached University B grade for three seasons, making the finals every year and a Premiership in Division 2. He was most recently club coach at Pembroke OS winning the 2016 Division 3 premiership. The club is extremely excited with this appointment, and we believe Michael’s experience and knowledge will ensure our club continues to develop and improve, with the aim of premiership success.

The Club is also pleased to announce that Damian Boots will be joining the club as an Assistant coach in 2017. Damian is known to many within the Club's community and has had a long involvement in the game as a Player, Administrator and Coach. Following a Senior playing career at Sturt and Rostrevor Old Collegians Football Clubs, Damian continued his involvement in the game as a junior coach with success at PNUFC, Sturt FC and St Ignatius College. Damian comes to the club with experience and enthusiasm to continue the clubs goals for success both on and off the field.

We would also like to thank outgoing A Grade coach Jeremy Cini for all he has done at the club over the last few years. He has helped put the club in a strong on field position and he is always welcome around the club. He is moving on to other opportunities and we wish him all the very best for the future.

Should add a bit of spice to the Pembroke Old Iggies games next year.

Bootsy is a great bloke too.

Modbury aren't letting go of this one are they. Every day they're putting another clearance through for him.
It's like Andy Dufrane writing that letter a day in shawshank redemption requesting those library funds. Maybe Broadies will just approve it to shut them up....

I'm sure he'd need the $1,000 per game
It would overwhelm any emotional decision to help out his old club
