Was just a question settle down! I heard whispers a while back he might be moving on, and i've seen clubs do that before - appoint a captain to keep them. Regardless it's a good appointment and good for Houghton to have him still. I've always felt a key position forward who can significantly impact games can be great leaders.

Steve Gannell returning to the Farmers. Massive pick up for them and great to hear the big fella coming back.

Not overly convinced it's a wise move, unless he's moving back to SA.
Great fella and all but its gunna wear thin eventually throughout the season with travel etc.

Galvanised them? They've been on the cusp of a premiership for a few years, and added some more depth to their squad this year - anyone could've been at the helm and brought the same results each week.

Do agree it's a big loss if true indeed though, not ideal leading into pre-season.

Anyone could've coached them to success this season? What a load of crap. Still need the right coach no matter what players you have. I dont know anything about him or West croydon but i hate the comment of "anyone couldve coached them".
