So you've just come out of your food coma? [emoji38]

What did you have Pag?

The Donald Trump Speakeasy was on that day, so went that. Double beef, double American cheese, a hash brown, bacon, fried onions, pickles ketchup and American mustard. Was huge, might just go the regular burger next time as I felt sick on the way home, maybe with a shake as had a soft drink this time. Burger was just too good to put down and leave though. Loved the seasoning on the hashtag fries too.

I've turned 127 Days notifications off and don't allow it on my wall. I was going through way too much money.

Not a restuaraunt/pub review but a Bitcher shop revue
Having a Steak off night in a couple weeks.

We are buying a couple Rib Eye fillets from 6 different butcher shops around the Barossa Valley as well as a couple of the basic BBQ sausages and we will be doing a blind tasting and giving a rating. Will also take into account price. 12 of us doing the tasting, should get a solid result. Bit of pressure on the chef, almost worth hiring one i reckon.

I have today and tomorrow off work so I went to 127 Days for lunch today. Had a Godzilla with some Tags but it's the Tim Tam shakes that get me always wanting to go back. They are just to die for.

Colonnades Tavern
Ordered Atlantic Salmon

Not an overly busy night but still waited 35 mins for mains.
Then my spuds were fridge cold.
I raised it with the waitress who took my plate back.

Then get to the counter to pay for one meal and the drinks and mentioned it to the older waitress who has worked there for years.
The kicker is that when the oldie asked the youngun whether she told the head chef
" Oh no, I'll go do that now"

Jarmers at Bowden.

Went among a group of 7 adults and 3 children for lunch on Sunday afternoon.

Food was exceptional, and better priced than I'd thought it would be.

We shared a couple of boards to kick off with, included Olives (puke), Duck croquet type things, Arincini Balls and grilled Chorizo. All good in the hood!

For Main I went with a Chilli Crab Linguine that was outstanding, and at $24 pretty reasonably priced I reckon. I couldn't finish it all, so whilst not a big eater, it was a solid serving size.

There was plenty of Wine and Champagne for the girls, and Beers and Bourbon for the lads. Bill came to about $450, but the grogs took that so high. Everyone loved their food.

Now to the establishment itself .. We had a table in a separate/secluded section, in what was an awesome setup. The kids played on the free totem tennis sets outside before we came in, and no sooner had we sat down than the staff delivered cookie dough. rolling pins and sprinkles (M&M's etc) for the kids to design their own cookies, that were baked for them not long after. They were provided with board games and colouring sets. The staff could not have been more helpful and were great for a bit of banter - Even chucked the Cricket on the Telly for us whilst downing a few post-meal ales.

I seriously could not recommend this place more highly - Easily the best dining experience of 2016 for us. They have such a great committment toward family values, and all seemed invested in the ethos of old man Jarmer the original founder.

Rating 9.5/10 (And the only reason I can't give a 10 is in case something better comes along)

Had been there for Brekky before with the family and it was great. Gonna try and push it as an option for a future work function.
