Pretty close. You should see him scull a beer! Drinks like a fish.

Moving to Melbourne to play amateurs? Interesting. Presumably there's a family and/or work reason behind his decision.

The secretary at the Fitzroy Reds over there tried to tell me that Nathan Ablett played for zero a couple of years ago, just the chance of winning a $60 meat tray for BOG.

Apparently the Eagles are keen to talk to Jack, as well...

Talking to a high-ranked CDF official the other night, if Jack plays SANFL in 2017, it would only be with the Dogs...

Time will tell...

Dont bet on Jack Hannath being in Red,White & Blue next year.More unlikely than likely unfortunately.

Given Sturt won the GF by going in hard and playing tough, hard, contested footy, I'm not sure that Byron is the type of player that Sturt should pursue to be honest.

Well Eagles wouldn't be short on $$ to splash around given we've had about five of our better players on high $$ leave the club. So far the Eagles have been very quiet on the recruiting front compared to previous years. Yes, we got Stewart who will be a useful player but he isn't the type who can dominate a match in the way someone like O'brien could. I doubt there will be too much interest from the eagles for recruiting from the VFL/WAFL or other State league given this hasn't worked out well for us over the years (they are always duds or return home early) and there doesn't appear to be all that many ex-SA lads returning to play in the SANFL this year. So I would assume Hannath is someone they will probably pay over the odds to land. Otherwise it appears likely the Eagles will be crossing their fingers that the lads from their country and metro zones plus potentially some ex-amateur league players can step up.
