Is reason 1002 because of the morons that get up or go back to their seats during overs?

You read my mind Mr. Wedgie. I liked it at Lords when I went there, you weren't allowed to sneeze during an over.

Not sure if it shits me but travelling back from Mildura there's a few overtaking lanes, I found it a bit weird how most of them between Waikerie and Truro are uphill, I would've thought it would make more sense to have them going downhill.

Especially the one that's up hill and goes around the bend. Can be quite hairy with trucks on that one

Yeah, and dickheads everywhere, they stay in the overtaking lane despite not overtaking anything or they overtake coming from the other way despite them being a single lane road at the time.
We were in no hurry so we just bopped along around the speed limit, it did get a bit frustrating sitting behind slower vehicles for a while here and there but everyone has the right to get to their destination in one piece and how they see fit to drive.

Why would it make sense to have them downhill? Trucks and caravans can easily do the speed limit downhill so nobody will get past, but if they have to do 80 up the hill all the cars can still do the speed limit and overtake

Was thinking that myself, would be dangerous having them downhill with the greater speeds having to be done.

I would have thought you'll get more cars through going downhill, around Christmas most cars are full with people and luggage and it's harder to accelerate uphill.

I do get your point though now that I've thought about it from the other side of the fence.

Funny how everyone speeds up to 90 in the overtaking lanes. Have you noticed?

Didnt the hospitality industry just change to no penalty rates therefore staff are getting paid the same no matter when they work? If so why is there still a surcharge?

Think they're still on double time. If I was a publican I'd factor penalty rates into my every day prices and not implement the surcharge.
Unfortunately my local is a Woolies pub & they couldn't give a f#ck about the customer.

Finally heard back from the removal company. Apparently there is no wheel or something under the fridge, so they had to move the fridge in any way they can, and the damage happened because of that. I told them it needed to be repaired. Asked if it was covered by their insurance. He laughed. Offered a refund on the cost of removals. I said that wasn't good enough, told him I'll seek legal advice and get back to him.
