Like Kelli Underwood? ;)

Do we banish Ned Hall or Simon Hill from the airwaves because there's not a English team playing in the A League?

Alison Mitchell is doing a very good job and is probably there because 1) She's a woman 2) Has experience in cricket commentary and 3) I'm guessing that the BBC and ABC have some working arrangement and for all we know the BBC could be paying half her wage out here and thus saving the ABC a buck or two.

There is no rule that says the commentators have to be from the particular countries participating but i got to admit before foxtel got the overseas broadcast listening to the overseas commentary with blokes such as Tony Cozier, Harsha Bhogle, Bumble really gave the radio coverage that feel and amercement of the tour at hand.

Kelli Underwood isn't, believe it or not, the only Australian woman who can commentate sport.

There's a big difference between naturalised Australians calling games and random blow-ins.

Even if your presumption is true I would be highly surprised if an Australian would be commentating an England v Pakistan series.

There are plenty of locals that the ABC (our national broadcaster) could give an opportunity to.

Richie benaud wasn't a pom.
Tony Greig did plenty of games on the subcontinent.
Michael holding is always on the English telecasts (or is he a UK citizen now?)

Because England aren't out here adds to her credibility IMO.

I think we are all a bit cooked. Had a lot of test cricket so far and these last few decks have been a bit flat. Hard not t feel a bit cooked after watching some of this series.

Younus looking to attack O'Keeffe which is good to see. If only has a few more mates along the way he could post a good total. Of course as long as he doesn't run anymore of them out as well.
