Brighton v Flinders Park

BOS ; word on Brighton road is that no less than 12 A graders have returned to the group from previous years. They also have got what will be the dominant ruckman in the Comp (forgot what the blokes said his name was) The return to SAAFL has seen a big influx and huge numbers on the track. Expect the Bombers to go bang in 2017
FPK ; after last years finals fade out they have looked to take the next step. They have been real active in the off season with Dave Kenewell getting some big names on the dotted line. None bigger than the premier forward of the SANFUL competition Andy "Grave Danger" Ainger. Throw in a. Couple of his mates and perhaps a fringe ex Eagle along with a bit of improvement and I see big things for the Reds.

#Bathygoesbang

We already have a BOS - We'll need another acronym for Brighton - I know they're in different divs but it's the principle.

Brighton Districts and Old Scholars = BDOS

Correct.
Onto another question but you must be starting to see the cracks appearing down in the SFL with the departure of BDOS, Morphy, Towns with Marion probably going by the end of this season. How is the comp going to look this year with those departures. It can't be good for your comp and in paticular your juniors who remain the only SANFUL unaffiliated juniors.???

Jacob Sumner to Portland. Will be interesting to see how the best player in Div 6 goes in Div 3. I'd be guessing pretty well from all accounts.

sometimes you just need to fight fire with fire.

As a sidenote and completely off topic, I'm even refusing to watch MKR for the first time ever this year because of the two hashtaggers in the ads.

that's how much I hate hashtags.

#Bathybackbreakingnews

Has been mentioned in the hills thread but not in this one I believe or on the clearances.
Herbert and Schultz from Macclesfield to Plympton. I don't know much about Sgt. Schultz but one of my mates is close mates with Herbzilla as he calls himself and it's a done deal. Good pick up for Minners and the Dogs.
No-one will be happier with this post than Herbzilla himself. Apparently he has been trying to get that nickname off the ground for years.

Is this you mentioning it in the C grade forum? Bit vague, yeah?

I heard Tommy Javor was one of HV's big recruits for the C grade. Did you hear the same?
