Great job as usual Fourth Estate.
As for the result, it's enough to make you sick.

Absolutely incredible. Taped it and was drifting during the third quarter so started to fast forward through it, then bloody hell.
I wonder if that catch will end up with a life of it's own like the Immaculate Reception, it was just as flukey.

Biggest choke in a Super Bowl but not quite the biggest choke in the NFL

The biggest choke was by the Houston Oilers when they lost to the Buffalo Bills 41-38 at Rich Stadium in Buffalo in a wild card game played early January 1993

The Oilers defeated the Bills 27-3 in Houston in the season finale Houston finished second in the AFC Central behind Pittsburgh (No.1 Seed) with a 10-6 record while Buffalo finished 2nd in the AFC East with a 11-5 record losing the Division on a to breaker to Miami (No. 2 AFC Seed)

Other AFC playoff teams were the San Diego Chargers and the Kansas City Chiefs. San Diego defeated the Kansas City 17-0 in San Diego in the other Wild Card Game

Buffalo were down 35-3 early in the 3rd qtr before reeling off 35 unanswered points of which they scored 28 in the 3rd qtr

Houston tied the game with on the back of a 65yd drive led by Warren Moon which resulted in a 32yd field goal by Al Del Greco

Houston won the toss for overtime and elected to receive. on the 3rd play of overtime Warren Moon pass was intercepted Nate Odoms and returned for 2 yds but a face mask call added a further 15 yds to the play. After to runs by Kenneth Davis (Thurman Thoams was lost to the game early in the 3rd qtr with a hip injury) Stev Christie set up for a 32yd field goal which sent them on to play the No.1 seed Pittsburgh who they defeated 24-3 in Three Rivers Stadium Pittsburgh.

Miami easily accounted for the Chargers 31-0 gaining some revenge for the 1981 season Divisional overtime game they lost known as the "Epic in Miami" 41-38 (San Diego would reverse the result again in 1994 Season Divisional game on route to their only Super Bowl appearance)

Buffalo went in to the Orange Bowl to play the Dolphins to have a shot at their 3rd straight Super Bowl and shut down the Miami Dolphins to win 29-10 before being destroyed by the Dallas Cowboys in the Super Bowl 52-17 which was played at the Rose Bowl.
