Where for Gold Coast it's going to be "profitable" seeing as they get an all expenses trip paid for plus an appearance fee with any additional sponsorship the cherry on top.

Great situation for Gold Coast as I've stayed previously. Still can't believe port couldn't negotiate above for themselves.

So Ports key Backs will be : Hippy Hombsch, Elbows Jona, Not up to it Clurey and softer than Hilary's bra Austin.

Interesting.

It Sounds like all faith in Lobbe has been lost. He stands to be the highest paid SANFL player with ruck duties being shared between Ryder and Trengove this season.

"Key" backs in the 2016 Grand Final were Wood, Hamling and Morris for Western Bulldogs and Grundy, Laidler and Rampe for Swans. Port's tall defenders are not miles away from that level. I don't rate tall defenders as "key" anyway. Much more important to have quality attacking defenders who can use the ball well and Hartlett could be the key.

Good luck with that :-)

Is Lobbe contratced until 2018 ???

Some local and more importantly some major global brands on board.

______________________________________________________________________________

Port Adelaide’s commercial health is in great shape heading into the 2017 season with a number of new and renewing partners committed to the club.

Follow announcements of Renault’s one-year contract extension and OAK committing through until the end of 2019, Port Adelaide has also seen a number of new partnerships.

Ray White is the latest high-profile company to join the club, signing on as a key partner for season 2017.

“The partnership with the Port Adelaide Football Club will bring together Ray White South Australia's network of 50 businesses,” says Ray White's SA/NT chief executive Matt Lindblom.

"We're thrilled to be a key partner and provide an opportunity for our members to come together, partnering with Port Adelaide will unite our network of offices and enable them to get involved with and be proud of this group initiative.

"It not only provides us with a fantastic opportunity to enhance our brand presence, but it's also exciting to align with a business that shares similar values to Ray White and embraces the digital and social sphere as impressively as Port Adelaide does.”

The Ray White partnerships follows Cathay Pacific and Harley Davidson also joining the club on one-year deals over the New Year period.

Cathay Pacific are Port Adelaide’s new airline partner while Harley Davidson are a new key partner.

Among other partnership extensions, EnergyAustralia and Adelaide Casino have extended for one year, UBET has extended for two years, and Nova Entertainment and Coca Cola have signed three-year extensions.

It's in the contract that the Suns, the AFL and Port agreed to. Not that hard to understand.

Does the contract state that Port are to wear their home guernsey & GC wear their away white guernsey?

You would think someone smart at the Suns would set up merchandise booths at or near the ground with their home kit on sale and have QLD tourism with cheap offers to holiday on the Gold Coast[emoji57]

Depends on several things, but who wins this game and how they pull up for the next are more important than the money, short term anyway.

$500K plus a 5 year sponsorship with china's leading telco.

It seems the china expansion is better than "cost neutral" for the suns.
