Stuff like that actually hurts the cause for equality imo.

This ...

Perceived political correctness is doing more harm than good... where we're worried about offending people who aren't actually offended.

As someone who has spent a lifetime involved in women's cricket, I've yet come across anyone who's ever taken issue by any of the "offending" terminology.

Let's stop creating issues that aren't there & play on [emoji967]

Ton to Dalton, 70 odd not out for Drew. Any chance a debutant comes in?

They want to give Dalton a game before the end of season. Now is the best time to try him when he is in career best form.

Would think they would like to bat him at Number 5 or 6 though, and not chuck him in to opening.

The spots most up for grabs are Raphael and Weatherald, but they will probably both play now.

The rest are Ferguson, Head, Lehmann and Cooper. Can't see any of them getting dropped.

Will be interesting what they do now!

Swap him and Ferg

Ferg doesn't deserve his spot ATM

A lot of people have that view. But Siddons has backed Ferg in and said he will not be dropped and will be batting at Number 3 for rest of year, so not going to happen.

Second X1 bowled Vic out for 66, but did not enforce follow on as want to give out batters another hit. Raphael out second ball he faced so missed his chance to consolidate his spot.

Dalton 61 not out in 2nd dig now. Is in form if they want to roll the dice on a youngster.

100* for Dalton and we declared at 9/241. About 1000 ahead... or 593 actually. Can Nick Winter back up his 5/6 from the first innings?
