2017 Ladder predictions

Postby carey » Fri Feb 24, 2017 2:16 pm

Being bored at work I thought I'd have a crack at the 2017 AFL ladder at the end of the minor round. Looks a bloody even comp this year, as even as I've ever seen. But I'll have a crack

1. GWS
2. Geelong
3. Swans
4. Hawks
5. Dogs
6. Crows (Pains me to say this)
7. West Coast (Will win enough games at home)
8. Melbourne

9. North
10. Collingwood
11. Saints
12. Port
13. Freo
14. Richmond
15. Essendon
16. Carlton
17. Gold Coast
18. Brisbane

Positions 7th to 14th wouldn't surprise me the order they all fall in very tight through that area of the ladder.
you've gota keep on keep'n on .........

Just like early last season, I remember after round one only 1 win separated top from bottom.

Very similar views to mine, Therefore you must be a knowledgeable man lol

Agree Freo improve but I doubt enough to make the 8, The Cows are are a lock for the 8 IMO and Collingwood aren't a bottom 4 club but the rest is pretty close mate.

Great minds mate!!
Im banking on the Crows to have injuries, promising early signs!! See how Jenkins goes if Walker misses games.
Freo need no injuries and Bennell to be right
Collingwood mids ok but they are almost as bad a s Brisbane at both ends of the ground, Moore may struggle this year attracting the best defender. Down back they have nothing, L.Dunn, pleeeese

Another one getting caught up in our hype. We would need almost everything to go right just to sneak in the 8. Reckon 10-12 at best for us this year with a big focus on rising up the ladder in 2018

Couldnt find room for Melbourne? Drug scandal, salary cap or tanking that will see them ejected from the AFL???

You don't really have to be good to make the top 8 and you play games at the Cattery. You'll win more than 12, even if you don't play well and you have the depth to cover most teams.
