And that's stumps day two. 4/143, lead by 298. Well done Australia, what a great day today. Looking forward to seeing what tomorrow brings us.

Told you this match would finish in 3 days!

In seriousness I'm impressed with these blokes. They ain't pretty or anywhere near the best ever team we have produced, however they have heart and have shown that since we cleaned out the cupboard after Hobart...

Shit, they have already achieved more on this tour than it thought they would... Even if India break the emergency glass and get out V.V.S Laxmann and Rahul Dravid out to put on 400 I'll give them credit.

FWIW this Indian team compared to the one in the 2000's is dead set rubbish.

Whilst I am at it why the hell are we playing in shit holes like this and the next 3 tests when as the traditional powerhouse of cricket should be playing at venues like Eden Gardens, Delhi, Mumbai and Hyderabad. This grounds square and outfield is the standard you saw in India 20 years ago.
Can you bring a man to his feet when defeat is on repeat?

Test Cricket can bring so much joy. A first duck for Kholi on Indian soil warms my heart. Occupy the crease will be the mandate And the lead will blossom.

I love that the Indians lost 7/11...

Who would have forecast that SOK would be so integral?

This game will need to finish in 3 days as the pitch will be a health hazard by day 4.

A lead of 400 would be amazing!!!!

What an effort so far

Warne proving to be a genius again with '250 is an extremely good score'

Settle on the warne genius, he didnt want renshaw or O'keefe in the team. Cant understand his dislike of O'keefe he has a terrific first class record and deserves a go. Also hats of to the aussies they have been outstanding. Personally i quite enjoy seeing a challenging pitch, much better then watching flat tracks in australia. Mind you this pitch is a bit over the top.

Nothing wrong with the pitch, much rather that than the crap we dish up over here. Most of the dismissals have been through poor shot selections rather than a poor pitch. It's test match cricket FFS

I would much rather see the pitch err on the side of the bowler and challenge batsmen than the 450+ roads we so often see

As much as I hate Shaun Marsh gotta feel for him this test

In the first he bats at four and comes in with an unexpected retired hurt just before lunch and then gets out unluckily

Second innings he gets promoted to the top of the order after Australian unexpectedly run through the Indians

Not often blokes bat in two different positions in a test without there being injuries or deceleration needed etc
