They could have waited til after we play them :(

Hammers to play AUFC at Adelaide Oval, some good news for WHUFC and co.

Foxes 2-nil up just before the break, we are ridiculously predictable .. Least my wallet is going to look healthier (although wish it wasn't)

Jeepers, haven't Liverpool dropped off the face of the earth since Christmas. Didn't expect that sort of fall from them.
In saying that, watch us lose to them next match

It was always coming .. Squad was always going to be too thin, and there's some real junk that needs to be replaced. Those we were hoping would step up to another level haven't been able to, and we've been leaky at the back since Benitez was in charge.

Klopp was always going to need a few transfer windows, but most supporters lost sight of that after we played above ourselves for the first 10 rounds. Our owners will never spend as much as 5 or 6 other clubs in the PL, but they'll need to offer up a decent transfer budget (by our standards) this off-season.

Saw a stat recently that showed we were the best performing club against the top 6, our problem is losing to Burnley, Sunderland, Swansea, Hull, Leicester, all clubs well involved in relegation battles at the time (not to mention Wolverhampton).

Time to pull the trigger on Sturridge, he needs to be moved along. Can also, Lucas can go too, one or both of the keepers. Wouldn't be surprised if Barca make a play for Coutinho and tbh if it's used wisely, that could easily be a win for us.

Chelsea, Man U, Man C, Arsenal, Tottenham will all be stronger again next season so we've probably missed a great opportunity. Can't wait for Aussie Rules season to start (think I've said that on this forum around this time every year for the last 10 years lol)

I don't actually have a problem with it - Naturally I'd like more made available, but wouldn't supporters at every club? Our owners aren't Oil tycoons, so they were never going to compete with the Arabs or Russian. We also don't bring the revenue of Man U or Arsenal so didn't have the clout that way either. They have invested fairly wisely in the club to improve it's revenue in years to come, and they saved us from administration and falling completely into the abyss, thanks to the previous Yank Cnuts who fugged us over.

We actually turned a profit in transfers this season, and we'd appear much closer in that list you've shown had we got smarter money on the sale of Suarez as you guys did with Bale. And that list doesn't appear to take into account wages, which is our biggest stumbling block on transfers for established players (well, that and not being able to offer Champions League football).

I do like what the Manager and Owners are trying to achieve, by building a whole of club to return to Europe, challenge for titles, and stay there rather than be 1 year wonders. Whether they can achieve that remains to be seen, and for a supporter-base that's had to be patient for 25+years, the natives grow restless pretty quickly these days.

Yeah we've just broken our record this season I think (Coutinho and maybe Lallana) .. Still can't offer enough to land any established world class types though, which is why Klopp is trying to develop them.

Liverpool have 19 points (with no losses) against other top 6 clubs, Chelsea next best on 13. We've played more than the others so the figure a bit inflated, but shows how crap we are against the sides we're expected to beat.

Just read that Sanchez stormed out of training last week and had a verbal stoush with a few team mates. He was furious at being dropped. Can't see him staying at Arsenal unless at the very least Wenger goes.

The reports I've read have suggested Wenger has been offered another 2 years with the Gunners, but has yet to decide where his future lies. PSG reportedly going after Sanchez pretty hard *.

Something's not right down there. You can tell by the body language of özil and Sanchez.

Hard to know these days - Is there something wrong with the management of either team or club, or are the players petulant children because they earn a million dollars every month? (not a crack at Sanchez and Ozil, it's pretty much every top flight player these days).

If (IF) the reports are correct that Sanchez had been excessively chastising teammates, and not adhering to team rules, then you can't blame any manager for disciplining him.

If Sanchez' (first half on the bench) was tactical, then AW has to cop that because it didn't work (although in theory was not a bad tactic against us).

He better not accept that deal. He's time is well and truly up. Leave now before you ruin the crumbling legacy
