I think safooty @robran is coaching central Yorke. He may be able to fill us in on greenacres yesterday

They did pretty well mate probably had around 30 there for the game I reckon which was played over 6 quarters. I no they had a few not play as well I think they will be right for the season, there coach is very upbeat which is a greAt and he has some good football brains beside him in his assistants. And a positive is Dale was and maybe still be involved in the multi culture programme So he has some contacts they do have a lot of kids playing with the mixture of some senior boys. So from what I seen I think they will stay in Div 5 and be a competitive bunch.

Not sure I'd say they are sleeping giants, but I know a few lads who have headed there with a bigger group of mates. There's a few C graders from Modbury that havn't played for a while and one of our B graders. Them paired with a few country recruits they often get, you'd think they would be pretty competitive. Young and fit side.

Rubbish! Para Hills were so undermanned I hear even the coach was unavailable for the trial.. Maybe half a dozen A graders played?

we defiantly knew that it was going to be a long afternoon, we had quiet a few that are either playing cricket or being a long weekend had other commitments, even the coach was away for work, we have about 12 A graders ( from 2015) that couldn't play. Was good just to get back out on the park, Pooraka defiantly looking good as well would expect them to be around the mark at the end of the season.

Spoke to an A Grade player of theirs today.

Very confident on being a much better side than last year. Added 10 A Graders with 2 "stars". Plus a bit more commitment from some FIFO types from last year. Only lost their ruckman.

Apparently absolutely pumped Mawson Lakes in a trial.

Will be winding them in big time at the next market.

I think you find most years in most Divisions that 1 of the 2 sides that went down a Division will be very competitive and push to come back up again.

Oh petal! That wasn't meant to be aggressive, hence the obligatory "haha" at the front. Hope you're OK.

If I wasn't involved in Mitchell Park and if I lived out that way, Para Hills would be a club of choice. Lots of good people there that I rate very highly.

That is good to hear. Hope they get up!

How are the mighty cougars looking mate? As you'd probably know we trained with them last year and spent our training camp at Cougars HQ. Was a great couple of days. The drunken support of the cricketers on the Sunday was perhaps a bit perplexing to the locals

He was pretty adamant that they flogged them, but was unsure about the mix of players they had.
