Jay Weatherill's been on fire this week and picking a fight with Frydenberg and the shitty Lib government over this will go a long way to winning the next election.

But Jay and Kouta still have their jobs so they are content

He's now well in front of the limp-wristed sap on the other side of the floor who offers no backbone whatsoever. Well, a backbone that will undoubtedly have a knife in it soon. We are just 12 months from an election so any Lib leader should be updating their resume for their next job.

I didn't think Weatherill had it in him, then I remembered he is a lawyer so he's always got an articulate spray ready to roll out at any stage. I'm sure they get trained in that. Frydenberg played a straight bat, he held his nerve as Jay played for SA and good on him, a polly with some real gumption, whodathunkit?

We definitely miss Northern PS and Playford B stations. Thats 760MW or there abouts of generation.

However as the CEO of Alinta stated in his interview with Ross Greenberg the issue was actually the coal quality of it they were getting out of Leigh Creek.

Still Altina did come to the government about a proposal but stated Commercial in confidence during the interview.

I guess it would be nice to know what that was also. And also what would be the additional cost of importing coal from interstate.

Still how Steven Marshall isnt all over Jay and Turbo Tom right now is staggering.

Well that was an interesting development with Shane Yeend on 5AA
I don't buy the Advertiser/Sunday mail anymore so missed the as he out in against Weatherill.

But just googled a few stories about him The Australian.

This guy will single handedly give Marshall the Premiership and possibly deservedly so....

You obviously dont read papers, watch TV or went to the lunch last Friday where Weatherill looked like a rabbit in the headlights over the Alinta proposal that apparently never happened but they cant release because of C in C (I'm not sure how that works. On the same day he denied there was a proposal, he cant release the details because its confidential  )
Funny thing is, I've never seen Weatherill so frazzled
And Kouta is constantly getting caught out

Those that follow it more closely may have a better recollection, but Jay actually looks in worse shape than Rann ever was.
Too late now to tap the shoulder but should something have happened last year to 'reinvigorate' the party?

He was on 891 as well.
Matt and Dave were very careful to to tangle with him too much
He's a different cat and can give it both barrels
He reckons it was Weatherill that went feral and is suing him

He's got a lot invested in this medical cannabis project and said the returns in overseas companies have been around 8,000% so he's certainly got an interest and the money to burn on him

Yeah I'm not sure some stuck up big business guy having it out for the Premier because he couldn't get his snout in the trough is going to play well politically against Labor. One-eyed Lib voters always think this stuff is going to play well but most just see a rent seeker with his nose out of joint. If he wants to throw a million bucks down the drain good luck to him he won't have any effect on the election outcome.

Remember when the Burnside businessman physically attacking the then Premier over a personal vendetta was going to hand the next election to the Libs?
