Got Fifa 17 for an absolute steal on the weekend on the PSN. Was $99 and being that I am a PlayStation plus member I got it for $29. Rapt about that. Keen to get stuck into it

I see Johnno has played the beta edition of that tom Clancy game on PS4. Its free at the moment, just wondering if it's any good?

I played the closed beta a few weeks ago. Pretty bland. Go here, shoot these guys, go there, shoot those guys.

I guess it'll be better playing co-op with friends, but single player bored me a bit. The beta's not very long, but I still took 4 or 5 sessions to finish it because I got bored.

Apparently the open beta has more to it, but I haven't played it. Didn't wanna bother re-downloading it.

I enjoyed the divison, and I am hoping this will be a step up from that.
I only played for about 10 mins, after the 12 hour download....

but good chance I will buy this, im a big fan of co-op games like this with mates.
so if you get it let me know and we can team up etc

Paladins got released for PS4 yesterday. Pretty much the same concept as Overwatch.

It's been out in "beta" form for a year or so on Steam on PC, and I've played a little bit.

For $20 you get the Founders Pack on PS4, which gets you all current and future Champions, and some other goodies.

Downloading now, so I'll be on most of the night I forsee.

Linked my PC account to my PS4 account on Paladins, but it still made me start at Lvl1. Which means I have to play 5 matches against bots, which is annoying. Got on really late so only got two matches in before bed.

Ones going to my brother, but if anyone wants one and will actually play it, it's theirs.

What's your thoughts on it?

It's pretty addictive. Each game goes for about 15-20 minutes.

You pick a champion, and you collect cards with different perks. Then you have a Loadout of 5 cards, which change things like reduction in special move cooldown, shield duration, etc.

I think I've played about 5-6 hours, coz I've been hella tired at night, so don't wanna jump on and get destroyed and f**k my stats. Will jump on about 10ish tonight I reckon.

Played BF 1 last night after a bit of a break, but I played as a medic for the first time... Really liked doing that, usually just go assault... I got more kills as a medic but I love the idea of helping your team mates, except for the dick heads who respawn as you get to them, jerks!

It's the same, except there's first person view, which makes it harder, and actually a lot different. I tried to replay the story in FP, and just couldn't stick with it.

I checked the PS4 this morning to make sure it was downloaded and ready to go for this arvo, and it told me it was "ready to play", and it was a miracle I switched it off and came to work.

It wasn't supposed to be playable til 2.30pm.
