United - Big improver with numerous quality INS, with T. Beard the only notable OUT.
Mallala - A several big OUTS in Osborn, Farrelly, Whitwell and Cocks. May slip further if unable to fill the ruck void.
Balaklava - Big OUTS replaced with big INs - Lachy Michael, McCurry, Whisky etc
Two Wells - could easily finish higher if they stay fit and the big gun up forward fires.
Virginia - lost quite a few but you never know how many of the veterans will play on
Angle Vale - unknown
Hamley Bridge - unknown

Mallala is still clearly the team to beat. Were 10 goals better than the next best side last year if not more.
I would say Two Wells next best, all a year older, havn't really lost anyone, 1 or 2 additions will top them off nicely.
Virginia, Balak, United and Hummocks all battling for the remaining 2 spots.
Virginia may have weakened a touch but they still have some nice ins. Balaklava the same, some good outs with some equally good ins.
Us and Hummocks will be trying to bridge the small gap there was between the top 4 sides and 5th and 6th. Beardy is a massive loss for us, I would say he was a large part of what made us more competitive in the last half of last year. Hopefully we can find someone to adequately cover him.
Hamley and Angle Vale to improve (both can't really get any worse) but still won't be competitive (within 10 goals of the other 6 sides).
If you don't like it, change it. If you don't want to change it, it can't be that bad!

Maybe because he had already signed a contract, I think there was a clause in there about numbers at training, not sure how this stands up with wanting to leave.

A clause on training numbers in a contract? I have never heard of a player stipulating numbers at training must be satisfactory. Haha.

He was de-registered from SAAFL after the Div 1 GF in 2014 and has played in North Eastern Football Leauge for the past 2 years. According to AFL Clearance page he is at Salisbury North

If he has been playing in another comp with a clean record, you wouldn't think he would have any issues anywhere RooBoy.
As it should be too.

I thought once you got de-registered for exceeding the 16 games suspension you were unable to play anywhere. What was he de-registered for?

I was under the same impression.
I can't say I've ever heard of someone hitting 16 games suspension without reason so it seems reasonable that they would never be able to play again.
Surely you could just go around to different leagues and hit people at will if this is the case?

Things not looking so gloomy at the Rams I'm hearing Young, Galic and Mark have been back out at training.

Hey Snags, How's Campo been going at the Roosters?

From what I've heard he rolled his ankle a few weeks ago but is back at training and looking sharp

Not sure about all that stuff, all I know is he can't play in the saafl, he put in to go back to Salisbury north on good behaviour but the league denied it and now he has gone to Virginia. (From what I have heard)
Put all that behind him, the blokes been on a AFL list and the last 2 season tore zone level apart and played state country both years, the bloke can play!
