not as big as dad but very smart around the goals out of a pocket or flank..we used to put a player on him who spreads well because his defensive action was fairly minimal..stocky build and very experienced..

Correct that he is the mayor of Kilburn. Unlikely that the hack will ruck.

We played CY Cougars today. Think we got up by a goal or so wasn't really paying attention to the score. Hopefully the weather cools down before next week, I'm rooted.

Not sure how it panned out but both teams seamed to be missing a few but EP seemed to be missing a bit more quality

Looks like EP have pulled their 18s too. Very odd as theyve usually been strong in this grade

What I have heard is only really 12 players and some of the fill ins weren't worth the risk to their footy club as they are on thin ice... smart move I say

Yeah the 18's are known to be a bit hot headed up in the north,so probly a good move,to much of a hazard especially when your footy club is on notice.

Any truth to the rumour that the Havens got rolled by 10 goals in their trial yesterday??

They have assembled a very good list so I was surprised to hear. Obviously trial form means very little but would love to hear about when one of you lads gets home from the Palais. :D

I'm guessing the likes of Bird, Pederson, Lipson, Cochie and these types maybe didn't have a kick.

Saw Plympton first hand last week. They were streets ahead of the div 3 finals teams I saw at our ground last year. If anyone could knock off Brighton this year it will be them. They were super impressive. Change my tip from WOS.

They didn't dominate later on mate I stayed and seen the game Smithfield came out on top if anything, as it's only a trial game but still good signs for smitty

Fair enough if you had players out. I wasn't sure how keen some of the lads would have been on trials. I haven't lost faith that you will be there when the whips are cracking and this will indeed be the year the T-shirts get printed :D ( yep that old chestnut)

The Bay's have really good junior programs (won the 15,s, 16, 17 & 18,s last year) and Plympton are one of their clubs so no surprise they would have a few of the Glenelg blokes who would return to their original community club. Most league clubs would have over a hundred at pre-season so a few would have to float back better for the experience when final cuts are made. Not that would have a clue who they are.
