Saudi's top our group after a 3-0 win against UAE.
They have played 3 of their 4 at home though and have yet to play Japan

Big controversy in the Northern Hemisphere ATM with FIFA not allowing the Poms and Scots to wear poppies on their jerseys. I agree with FIFA as the poppy is looked upon differently in different parts of the world. It represents the British Armed Forces in a lot of places which is highly offensive to Irish people with some of the the crimes committed on the Irish by the British Army. To others it represents the drug trade. China is another example of those who find it offensive. Can't have different rules for different countries.

Early pen converted by Jedinak. Some disgraceful tackled by the Thai's in the first 10 minutes, lucky not to have a couple of reds

I've only just seen this... I am staggered that this was even an issue... It is for Remembrance Day, not a political statement in anyway but remembering all of those who were lost in the first world war... Not just the allied forces but those they fought against as well... Remembering the sacrifice of all those who were lost.

Staggered...

And on the flip side a disgraceful, pathetic effort from Australia. Lucky to get a point as we got a very soft pen to equalise. This result could come back to haunt us. Now sitting 3rd in the group and have 3 and a bit months to prepare for our next game

Diabolical effort that leaves us in a bit of strife but win our remaining home games and we will go through

I can't cop any criticism of Ange. He simply doesn't have the talent. This is a very ordinary team. The technical ability of each individual player is just not up to scratch.

The fact that shit truck Milligan is out there again is testament to this. Surely we have someone better...

Milligan will miss next game in Adelaide which is a blessing. Troisi was great tonight...by far our best player. TBH our skipper is lucky to get a game.

Got the result but poor performance again. We are in a bit of a transition period and have to face the fact that we are ordinary ATM. Will get some huge touch ups if we get through to Russia

Yeah, still a pretty ordinary squad as evidenced that bugger all of them are playing in decent leagues or a decent standard
