i reckon its been gradually improving since Pyke has been coach. He immediately brought in Knight and Atkins at the expense of players like grigg who we all thought would be next in line.

And adding cameron and now milera has just added to that.

The absence of Thompson helps with that perception.

I hear a few media commentators, like D. King today calling Crows flag favs.
I made that call after they beat Cats pre-season.

Not good about Jenkins. Last week one less tall up forward and when Jenkins went off obviously 1 less forward again. Does the Crows forward line work better with one less tall? I think it does based on what I have seen the last 2 weeks.

Yes it does, been saying it for years.
JJ looks to be ok btw. No internal damage or fractures.

Is Jenkins doing a show on 5AA this year with Kane Cornes?

Yeah just got clarification. My mother rings me to tell me this big huge guy is doing a show with Kane Cornes on her favourite station but didn't know his name but "he looked like a Crows player". I said it might be Josh Jenkins he's a big guy and she said yeah that's him then rings again to tell me it's not him "it's another Crows player called Ben Hart"

Standard Crows supporter by the sound of it ;)

I guess the only question that remains this season is who is Don Pyke going to give his medal to?

Really good win against the Hawks at the MCG! Frustrating game but happy with the way we grinded out the win!

We started poor again with skill errors costing us goals early! I thought once we went from a zone defence to man on man it cut out the Hawks uncontested possession and it got us back in the game.

Hawks pressure was good for the whole game but happy with the way we wore them down and controlled the game for the last 3 quarters playing it in our half of the ground. We finally capitalised with a few goals in the last quarter.

Big Sauce had his best game for 12-18 months and everyone played their roles again through the midfield and up forward, especially after losing JJ early! Sloaney huge, especially in the last quarter!

Happy with Otten’s work when he went forward. If JJ doesn’t come up (unlikely) I’m happy for him to play that role again.

Lever in for Kelly would be almost a sure thing this week. Menzel in for JJ the only other change we will make I reckon.
