8 days ago Tadgh Kennealy said Port would lose their first 4 games in 2017 and Kenny would get the sack. Let's wait and see.

Earth to helicopter king, it's ROUND 2 FFS... Get a grip! 10 days ago Hinckley was a Dead man walking according to some social media "experts" and now they're suddenly a finals contender, How about we wait until at least round 6 or 7 before making ridiculous statements like that. Unbelievable!

Hardly ridiculously statements - would think all those 3 are heavily under the pump.. Especially Lyon who only won 4 games last year.

Win a couple of games and all of a sudden the Port arrogance is back.
Do you see Freo improving enough not to finish bottom 3? Still a lot more pain to come for them, especially when Fyfe leaves.
GC have gone backwards in a huge way under Eade
Collingwood don't make finals, Buckley gone. Have Syd,St K,Ess,Geelong. Must win min of 2 of them to stay Alive.

He's Irish, means Port will win it's first 4 and Kenny will get a contract extension.

So if he swings Irish does that mean he doesn't swing at all?

Soooooooo, intentionally punch a bloke in the head with a clenched fist, breaking his jaw & only get 2 weeks (plus 1 with bad record).
Our league is weak as piss when it comes to deterring this shit. Yet they also continually allow blokes to punch players in the guts off the play whilst they're not looking.
NB - both of my blokes were also lucky with their punishments this weekend.

Preuss shouldn't of even been booked, nothing wrong with what he did. Glad Zak Jones got let off aswell, that was just a great hit on Cloke

Couldn't agree more. If theyre serious in getting rid of this shit, they'd be handing out 10 week minimum penalties.
Do this shit on the street and you could well get a short jail term.
Do this shit on the street and the victim falls over and hits their head on the concrete footpath and dies, there's public outrage demanding the perpetrator be hung or jailed for life.
For the AFL to only hand out 2 or 3 game penalties for this crap is basically saying they condone these gutless acts but just hand out a token penalty to be seen to be unaccepting of it.

The fact that they are clueless with dealing with the basic rules of footy, constantly feeling they need to alter 3 or 4 interpretations every season just shows how inadequate they are to deal with serious issues in the game.

Yep, but Thompsons act was gutless and dangerous which is to be expected from him, and he should have got at least 3 down to 2 imho

Gutless & dangerous - yes
To be expected from him - no, that's harsh
He also didn't break anyone's jaw (luckily)

Really? 110kg of knee smashing into someone's back at full tilt.

Probably not worth games thanks to no injury but it was flat out stupidity, I think his clumsiness saved him.
