The one point game was a ripper. Heccies kicked a goal to put them up by 4 points with 17 seconds left. The decision was overturned by the field umpire who was correct in his decision! Clearly touched.

Awesome setup and deck out at daly oval

Smithfield will be very competitive but will lack depth when injuries kick in.

Towns are middle of the road and Bellman is a big man.

Kilburn had no bench in the second half of that game and the boys had already done the damage in the first half, with Cameron Williams and J.Martin returning it may free some time up for the other on-balers. from what I'm told Eastern Park have some issues within the playing group. N.Warren was EP best, good user of the football.

Smithfield played a heap of young debutants while a few that I'd expect to be in the 1's were in the 2's a bit underdone on the weekend.

Being promoted 3 years running and then losing arguably your most consistent on-baller along with some other talented players is always going to present a problem, hopefully they can win enough to keep in the Grade and rebuild from there.

The thing I liked the most LM was their ability to stay in the contest. They don't give in easily and will trouble teams who take them lightly.

I was impressed by the scoreline after seeing the kids that got a game, HGA's are usually 5 or 6 goals IMO and away wins are worth 4 points.

Was the EP vs Kilburn result an upset? With EP playing at Thebby for their home games and not 'at home' where they rarely lose put them behind the pack early? Also when does their jet Woodward return from suspension?

With the players that Smithfield lost over the summer, did Edwardstown do enough or too early to tell?

The 1 point game must have been pretty exciting for everyone involved.

What about Morphetville Park. Early talk was that they would be a juggenaught. Perhaps not?

It was a T&C of their AAA I think...

Definitely no issues within the playing group, but there were some issues within the coaching staff and it had a serious strain on the playing group! EP have given the assistant coach the flick and everything else has been sorted out around that, don't expect another team to come out in the first half like kilburn did and have it so easy! Nato is a decent player and held his ground but didn't get in our best, other players stood out a lot more.. we were also down to no bench after half time so both teams were doing it pretty hard haha

Pretty much right FC. Their games are also dry zones as well. Hats off to them though, they are busting their buts to get it right. We expect a massive challenge Saturday.

Did EP get through the first round without any incident? The people in charge of the club have done a fantastic job of cleaning it up but there still seems to be on field issues.
I have a problem. It's to do with the little man, the squashed-in French man, the naked little squashed up hairy boy! You know! With the hand feet

There weren't any on field issues against us. To be honest I can't really remember there ever being any.

Historically Morphies 2's have been average and that probably gives a level of how average. There is a posibility that it could hinder there progress through the grades.
