Historically Morphies 2's have been average and that probably gives a level of how average. There is a posibility that it could hinder there progress through the grades.

Wouldn't take anything away from our B grade. Have improved dramatically and will win a few games.

A great game played in genuine spirit for the ultimate reward of a cup that is in honour of two greats from both clubs. We look forward to the return bout and hopeful of getting it back. It just makes you realise that it's more than just a game, it's about friendship and the reasons we play the great game.

With almost the entire Morphetville Park club in our bar after the game it tells me a lot about people who care. Pleasure to be involved.

How did the C grade boys go on the weekend?

Triple headers just make it easier to spread the volunteers but don't help financially. The C's were pretty good against good opposition but we lack numbers. A group of U18's have been filling in to date but it was their 1st game Sunday and they wanted to save themselves which is natural. A couple of injuries and we finished with about 15 in the last quarter.
