What's everyone's thoughts on the front page spread in the pioneer about Berri? Surely u honour the Anzacs on your front page especially on anzac day. Disgraceful shit by the Pioneer and piss poor comments by the RFL Chairman too.
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
No
Well you haven't seen everything then have you.

Hearing the Berri "recruits" are on the verge of walking before June 30. Surely not? Surely they aren't that piss weak?

Could Lefty walk before the season ends? Rekon the best thing is for Lefty to walk & Saf take the reigns for the rest of the year. Bit hard to fix things now, but Saf is the best to try mend some issues, a leader of the club who the young ones look up to.

Lefty should have probably walked away at the end of last year. Went one year too long.

Re their 18's & B's, they have lost a lot of talent in the 18-24 year age bracket over the last few years due to uni and blokes walking away from the club due to other people being involved in the club

Taso Bantolas in the best for BMFC on Saturday...... Would say that a prime example of the young talent walking. 1 of many

Only the start of season but next year, Berri might be better of restarting & concentrating on bringing kids back & getting the locals back instead of recruits once Lefty goes. Take a hit on making finals & just bring the culture back.

Taso left because his old man and kenny karpany snr made the under 13s vote one night about booting a player out of the team because their kids didn't like him. They were quickly put in their place for doing it and so they should have and they took the piss weak option and left the club. Those wankers u don't need at your club. Don't worry, what goes around comes around. Yes the club has areas of improvement but i think you'll find there might be a few people getting back involved next year and try get the club back on track.

Yeah losing Bantolas wasn't really a loss for Berri. Yes the kid will be a good player, but the baggage he comes with isn't worth it

Yep, haven't seen that kind of coverage about Renmark over the years when they have been shit. It's been all about how good they will be in the next 2-3 years with all their gun kids yet year after year they have been very poor. When is the last time Renmark made finals? It isn't 09 when they won the flag is it?

Spot on! Still don't rate Renmark this year with their "gun" recruits..... Yet the pioneer talked them up big time in the pre-season again haha. Will finish 4th again. Same thing will happen next season aswell.

But what is happening in Berri is a shock & we usually don't have 1 team that behind...... So it is out of the norm for the the league, but the article is pretty poor

Any defender in the league going to be able to shutdown Waikerie's FF Daniel Nobes? 18goals in the first 2 rounds & should have more after spraying a few easy ones in round 1 against Roo's?

How many will he kick for the year? 120+?

The bloke isn't super quick & is a bit gumby but he is a big lad with hands like Shaq O'Neal. Can also kick 50 no worries. Think it will be about cutting down the supply more than shutting him down. North's Anton Cook the only FB I can see that could hold him down for a little bit but sheesh.....

Classy response in the letter's to the editor by the BFC Committee. Well written.

Was hoping Bum Crack may have come up with a letter to the editor or perhaps they chose not to publish it?
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

I prepared a letter and decided last minute not to send it. It wasn't very complimentary towards the Pioneer nor the Chairman of the RFL and it was probably the right decision in the end not to send it. I'm sure there are people from the Pioneer and the RFL who get on this thread so they'll know I was pretty pissed off about it.

Another day out for Waikerie's Dan Nobes & Matt Spencely...... 10 for Nobes & 6 for Spencley. Dan Nobes could kick 120+ at this stage..........

North gave BMFC a bit of a touch up, with Hampel having a huge one but Roo's didn't play with a ruckman. Roo's also lost Dudley Cambell in the first 10mins which was a blow. Panthers just to after half time & the bigger bodies of the panthers were a bit too much for the younger Roo's.

Will be interesting to see how Roo's bounce back this week against Rovers....

Rovers look to of had a comfy 90point win over Berri. Will be a good test to really see where Renmark are at this week against Roo's

Lost him? He got towelled up and benched.
Losing Cooky, the best fullback of the decade, is a big blow.

I agree, he got 100% toweled up. It wouldn't of made a difference if he was fit or not but I know for a fact he was still unfit at training on Thursday with in ankle issue. Probably shouldn't of been picked, but hey I'm not a coach haha.

Didn't realize Cooky went down, that is huge a lose. He be ok for this week?

Usually North & BMFC have a funny rivalry where 1 team beats the other & then it changes the next meeting but at this stage, I'm not sure if Roo's have the strength & size to go with North this year......
